Yesterday was a long day. I worked a double, which is from 9am to 1pm then 4pm to 7pm. That isn't a bad double, but when you are working with little kids, every second goes by in slow motion. When I work a double, I usually take a nap during mid-shift, but yesterday I had an interview at TGI Friday's. My interview was set to begin at 2:30, and I always arrive to an interview no more then 10 minutes early. Well, I got home during midshift at 1:30, which did not give me much time to get ready. I really needed to take a shower, but I did not have enough time for that, so I just pulled my nasty looking hair back into a fancy pony tail and headed out the door. Oh, I did wear a nice dress.

My interview went extremely well. I am almost 100% that I got the job. There is a but in this line of work. My mom doesn't want me to waitress while I'm in college because I will work to much. I don't know yet. I am going to see how my second interview goes.

Today I have been babysitting since 9am. The little one I am watching has been very well behaved for being almost 2. He took a 3 hour nap. Isn't that amazing?! I should be leaving in about an hour.

Tonight, I am going to go see Funny People with Brittany. I can't wait to see the movie. It looks very funny. I guess that's why the word "funny" is in the title.

I hate Wednesdays. I work at 24 Hour Fitness (in the kids club), and we will get really busy during certain classes. Well, today was no exception. If I remember correctly, we had 63 children in the kids club with 5 of us watching them. Keep in mind there is a 10 to 1 ratio for the kids club, and kids 6 months to 17 months count as three kids. So, yeah, today was stressful at work.

So, once I got off of work around one, I went home and cleaned up my room a little bitt. I was going to wash the floors but we needed a new mop sponge. Since I didn't wash the floor, I took a nap, which I needed. Of course, I didn't take too long of a nap because I was going to hang out with Brittany and Mandy around 5:00 -- 5:30. Before I could go hang out with them, I had to shower and get ready. I think I changed like 3 million times before I left the house. I finally got to The Colony by 5:20.. give or take. Brittany, Mandy, and I had dinner at Roma's. It was sooo good. At the end of my day, I am sitting here in my bed, typing this, tired as hell. Good night and sweet dreams. Post tomorrow.

This is my first blog post ever, so just bear with me here while I explain to you who I am.

Hello. I am Ashley. I'm 18 and attend Collin College. My plan is to major in nursing and become a travel ER or CRNA nurse. I live with my mom and step dad, Scott. Oh, along with 5 dogs. My dad lives in The Colony with his wife and her two daughters.

My parents split when I was a toddler, therefore I am used to having two total different families. I have two stepsisters, Brittney (18) and Courtney (15).

I walked across the stage on June 6, 2009. I am so happy to be done with high school. I am ready to begin my career and have my own life.

I have epilepsy, which is a seizure disorder. I have only had two grand mal seizures. Thank the lord only two.

This is so jumbled up right now, I promise my posts will become more organized, especially when I type about my days.

Well, that was just some info about me. If you would like to know anything else, just ask.
